A maxillofacial surgeon works in the branch of dentistry focused on treating facial fractures or jaw fractures. They also manage dental pathologies, craniofacial anomalies, head and neck cancer, and facial cosmetic surgery, among others.<\/span><\/p>\n

But the reason this branch of dentistry is best known is for wisdom teeth.
