What is it?
The dental implant is a device screwed into your bone that replaces the root of one or several missing teeth and supports a synthetic crown or a complete set of teeth. This allows you to have permanent fixed teeth.

What kind of treatments are available to restore my teeth?
Implants can be done for individual teeth or short segments, better known as fixed bridges on implants. (loss of 2 to 3 teeth), but if the tooth loss is very large (losses of more than 10 teeth), the design of complete dentures will be considered. The treatment decision is based on the examination of the patient and their needs.
How do I know if I can get an implant?
The first thing to know is the bone availability, which will be seen in an image known as a tomography (3D image). Depending on its availability, we can perform the treatment in different stages:
- If there is no bone: Bone regeneration must be performed in cases of replacing 2 to 3 teeth. When the tooth loss is extensive, we skip bone regeneration and use techniques such as "All-on-4" or "zygomatic implants" so that in the first surgery we can place the implants and a complete prosthesis with fixed teeth.
- If there is bone: Place conventional implants immediately.
Each technique will meet the needs of our patients, seeking to provide the possibility of recovering their teeth in a single day.
How much does the dental
implant surgery cost?
With the technology we handle, it is possible. We handle all All-on-4 or All-on-5 techniques; in case of not having enough bone, we use zygomatic implants. The latter use their anchorage or grip in the cheekbone since the gum bone is not completely available.
How long does the
recovery take?
For single implants, the process takes 3 days. For full-arch implant cases (All-on-Four or zygomatic implants), the recovery process takes 5 to 8 days, with mild swelling and no pain in 90% of cases!
